Why Cozy Gaming Retreats?
Cozy gaming has always been a deeply personal experience filled with quiet moments, gentle music, and beautiful stories that unfold at your own pace. And yet, behind every solo playthrough is a vibrant, welcoming community that gathers online to share, celebrate, and connect. Other passions like yoga, writing, or reading have long embraced in-person retreats as a way to deepen that sense of belonging and friendship.
Cozy gaming deserves that, too. While many of us found comfort in these games during the pandemic, connection doesn’t have to stay behind a screen. Cozy gaming retreats create safe spaces to bring that same warmth and community into real life, where you can play side-by-side, share recommendations, connect over favorite moments, enjoy themed activities, and experience the magic of cozy gaming in community.
“It’s important to take a break and just . . . breathe.”

Hi! I’m Julie, the human behind Peaceful Pixels Retreats.
I’ve been a gamer since I was a little girl. I grew up in Pennsylvania playing video games with my sister – staying up late, trading turns, and loving the quiet comfort of a shared experience.
These days I’m a wife, mom, and nonprofit leader who still turns to cozy games and gentle hobbies like reading, coloring, and puzzling when life feels full. I’ve also been planning retreats and designing community-centered experiences for over a decade.
Peaceful Pixels came from an observed need for rest that is soft, shared, and free of guilt. I know firsthand how powerful it can be to have spaces where existing is enough – no pressure, just permission to play.
I can’t wait to see you at our next retreat.
